Leave Chris Holtmann alone. It's a young team going thru some growing pains. That is all. He has an excellent recruiting class coming in for next season. The Baylor Coach had 17 years there before he won a NC. Some here are totally unrealistic and out of touch and just touched.

Welcome to Victor Cutler to the Buckeye Family !!!!!!!
Just can't say 'no' to a beaver.
Just Sayin...........now I forgot what I was Sayin.
I hope HC Ryan Day and Staff can quickly identify the players they want and can get a commitment from early on in this 2024 class. I thought it was just a waste of time and money to keep recruiting Downs, Keeley & Wilson all the way to the end when it was really obvious they had a preference to stay down south in the same region they are from. Especially when we knew the competition was Georgia and Alabama. They wanted to play in the SEC and stay south. It's not about giving up but it is more about the reality of it. The Staff knows when there is legit interest vs pulling teeth in these cases.
Kurelic article on Bucknuts regarding O-Lineman Liam Andrews.
The Staff has to decide what is available today at Left OT vs what may or may not be available in the transfer portal in the Spring.
Greg Sankey has created more problems for CF than anyone could ever come close to.
It's actually a good thing that Colorado is getting these 5 and 4 star southeast players because if they didn't go to Colorado (PAC12 school), they would be going to either a SEC or ACC school.
imo, William Satterwhite, an O-Lineman from Akron Hoban is an excellent prospect and very underrated.

HC Ryan Day did make a comment on signing day during his press conference that they will be looking more and more at Ohio HS football players. The belief is that they understand Ohio State better and it means everything for them to play for their home state school as they know the traditions, the history and the rivalry as it becomes "personal" to them. Of course, he also said they will go OOS to recruit the right student/athlete to Ohio State. Maybe a little more of the Jim Tressell approach of recruiting in-state more as Ohio HS players are willing to run through a brick wall and show a top work ethic at Ohio State because of what it means to them.
Stanford OL transfer Walter Rouse commits to Nebraska.
This will probably be met with dislike by others but there is a reality to this. When Marvin Harrison had to leave the game due to concussion protocol, the Buckeyes did not have a WR to play Harrison's position and ready to produce in the game. And it showed. This is squarely on Brian Hartline and Ryan Day to not have a another WR like Jaden Ballard or someone else ready to produce and make a pass catch or two. Something like this does not happen to Georgia as they have guys off the bench ready to produce and even call their number in the biggest game. Where was this depth at WR. It was not ready to produce with the game on the line. None of the 4 true freshman WRs really played all year. Again, this does not happen to Georgia as Kirby sends a strong message probably everyday to his players.
Hope Avery gets back to full health and quickly.
Does this impact K.J. Bolden. Guess it's a wait and see.
I'll take Mark Dantonio everyday as DC. Thank you very much. Who was the Buckeyes DC when they beat Miami for the NC?
The transfer portal is really just getting started. The transfer portal only helps if you get the right players. I don't feel any of these players were must gets.
The DBs can't cover even when they knew that Georgia had to throw the ball. It's been a consistent problem all year.
The Buckeyes wear big boy pants. No diapers allowed.
Prayers up for Duane Long......and family.
Dillon Wade OL transfer from Tulsa, commits to Auburn.
The Buckeyes signed the transfer from Arizona State, so they actually signed 21 players (need to count the transfer signings in this day and age that we are in). There is another round of HS signings and Transfer portal that will go into May until rosters are finalized for next season. Hopefully, Alabama, Oregon and others are using up all their gun powder now and won't have any more schollies and NIL $$$ in the next round of transfers. We will see.
It would have to be Walter Rouse (from Washington D.C.) who the Buckeyes recruited heavily out of HS but chose Stanford. Do not know what kind of career he had out there.

Isolating on only one player for NIL might be a short sighted way to look at it. How much has each school committed to NIL over the entire recruiting class might be a better data point to evaluate it.
