Don’t feel too bad OSU made him a millionaire he can retire at a young age if he wants.

Gotta have some depth and practice squad guys.
Agree about Vimahi, whether fair or not I expected big things from him. Has there been any word about his progress or lack thereof?
Maybe McCord “can’t run” as well as some others, but neither could Krenzel. A QB that can pick up a few yards and move the chains with their feet at times is all that we need. He doesn’t need to be Vick.
I’m not shocked Michigan was cheating, I’m just shocked the NCAA is even attempting to do anything about it, I assumed the NCAA had given up after NIL broke loose. I suppose too many coaches and contacting players during Covid is something they want to take on, unlike tampering with players and schools buying recruits.
It is a tough spot for Hayden, he pretty much only got significant playing time due to injury. However once you taste that PT it’s going to be hard to be content to wait your turn. Hopefully we will give those guys lots of PT against lesser opponents to keep them interested as we will lose at least two RB’s after next season.
Should have know, look at the scarf he wore to his visit.
This is a dumb take. How can any fan be so pessimistic in the face of such success. Not saying we don’t need to upgrade our efforts at those positions but that is not what this thread is about. How can you not be happy about our WR success.
Does this mean our LB’s are all returning
Do you really think it’s a loss in McCord and Brown’s eyes? You don’t think they would rather go play for a national championship even if they aren’t a starter or don’t even play at all. I hope that isn’t the case that would be pretty selfish of them.
It really has been interesting reading the boards the last week in particular. The level of complaining and toxicity here just makes me believe this was a microcosm of our culture as a whole. As an ER nurse I can’t tell you how many people I see that just have absolutely no coping skills and just can’t handle any adversity in life. Our fan base has much the same, I understand the frustration but the vitriol that we have seen from some says to me there are a bunch of people that have no coping skills here that can’t deal with disappointment or adversity.
Isn’t OSU the only 1 loss team, they would have to do a lot of mental gymnastics to not put us in and the CFP committee would look like complete shit bags if they chose a two loss team to a team that lost to the #3 team no matter the scoring margin.
It makes me wonder why we haven’t really seen them go hurry up for a sustained period of time. They could be deadly but we seem to not do it. Don’t know why.
I think is reflective of where our culture is as a whole. A lot of negativity and belief that you can say whatever you want on the internet.
And your expectation is to give someone no time at all to turn it around…sounds totally reasonable
I get the emotion but this is a ridiculous take. Knowles had made a huge difference this year.
Totally agree, CJ puts up crazy stats and is a good quarterback but he is not a put the game on my shoulders and win it like Barret or Braxton was.
Football at breakfast time from Alaska
“Ohio State's room of receivers has so much ability and depth that the Buckeyes will almost always have an advantage over any secondary they face, but I can't say with confidence that either school possesses a pronounced advantage over the other on any area of the field.”
This seems a bit of hyperbole for the game, correct me if I am wrong but it seems we have a huge advantage in the passing game that is being downplayed quite a bit here.
Has he used his Covid year?
Not sure why someone DV’d answering a question. Here is a plus one to offset.
“Ohio State was only up three points on Maryland with 45 seconds remaining”. I thought we were up by 6.
What are your thoughts on TTUN secondary vs. our passing offense?
Question about Fleming: he seems to be struggling a bit more lately than he was earlier in the season. Who is his backup, any chance we see someone else get pt next week?
I wonder also if it’s because they really didn’t know fully what they had in MHJ and Emeka. Seeing it in practice is different than seeing it in game and we were not very far into the season at that point.
