I love the recruiting possibilities! One reason it hurt so badly when Fickell left was because NO ONE loved OSU more than he does, and it has shown in recruiting. It's another reason someone should have reached out to Laurinitis before he jumped on board with his best friend. I think Hartline could recruit any position he wants.
Here I thought I was being original, but I'm at work and hadn't refreshed the page for 28 minutes LOL.
LOL Didn't think I'd ever see a Soul Man reference in the Skully, yet here we are. Nice work!
I keep seeing people say Gene should/will be B1G Commish, but I don't understand why. I've never heard rumors that he wanted it, and we as Buckeyes should not want him to go. If you like the job Gene has done, why would you want him to leave? If you don't and are still stuck on Tat Gate, please move on from it. AND if you don't like him, the devil you know is often times better than the devil you don't. We have no idea who might replace him.
Yeah, they should have spent it on the football players.
LOL there is nothing diverse about professional football or basketball, and I'm completely fine with that. Efforts to increase diversity in any setting were to give opportunity to those who were denied it based on race or ethnicity. Unintentionally, this made more workplaces "look" like the general public. If that were the case in professional sports, 75% of the players would be white, and I'm not sure that's what's best for the final product.
In regards to the NC, that's why I said "very well could have". It's not a certainty. I don't remember too many specifics from the Oregon game. A quick glance at the game stats shows a ton of yards, but only 28 points with a couple of stalled drives. I do specifically remember feeling CJ could have extended drives a couple of times with a short run. But yes, the defense was atrocious that day.
Exactly. The NFL decided that the Bengals would have to coin flip with the Ravens for home field advantage. Fine. So if the Bengals play the Bills in the second round, do they coin flip that also? They have made no such concession. Granted, there are a few things that would have to play out for that to be relevant, but it just seems that the League has looked at this situation only through the eyes of the Buffalo Bills, when in reality, the Bengals had way more to lose by not playing that Monday night game.
Yes they did lose, because if they would have beaten the Bills it wouldn't matter what happens this weekend. That's as good as a loss.
Hamlin was resuscitated once, not twice, NEVER listen to the Uncle.
Nope, not even close. If they wanted to change the rules (not using winning percentage), then they should have declared the Bengals the winner since they had the lead at the time the game stopped.
