Brice Sensabaugh has done it again.
On Tuesday, the first-year Buckeye was awarded his third consecutive Big Ten Freshman of the Week award following his standout performances against Alabama A&M and Northwestern in which he collected a combined 39 points on 16-of-28 shooting with 14 rebounds, two blocks and one assist in both contests.

Against Alabama A&M on Thursday, Sensabaugh paced his team in scoring with 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting (64.3%) from the floor with a 33% mark from behind the arc. He also contributed six rebounds and one assist as the Buckeyes closed out their non-conference competition with a 90-59 win in Columbus.
On Sunday, the Orlando, Florida, native led the Buckeyes in the points department once again as Ohio State defeated Northwestern, 73-57, in Evanston, Illinois. Sensabaugh dropped 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting with a 40% clip from deep and continued his dominance on the boards with eight rebounds – one shy of matching his career-high set in Ohio State's season opener against Robert Morris.
This season, Sensabaugh has averaged a team-best 15.9 points on 52.4% shooting and a 46.6% mark from the 3-point line while contributing 4.5 rebounds and 1.23 assists per contest in Ohio State's 10-3 start to the year.
Head coach Chris Holtmann and the No. 24 Buckeyes will rely on the freshman phenom to have his hot hand when the No. 1 Purdue Boilermakers, fresh off a 65-64 loss to Rutgers on Monday, visit the Schottenstein Center on Thursday.
McMahon Wins Women's Big Ten Freshman of the Week
While Sensabaugh has now won three Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors in a row for the Ohio State men's team, Cotie McMahon claimed the same honor on the women's side for the fourth consecutive week on Monday.

A former top recruit from Centerville, Ohio, McMahon averaged 18 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.5 blocks for the Buckeyes' wins over Northwestern on the road on Wednesday and then-No. 14 Michigan at the Covelli Center on Saturday.
Through Ohio State's first 15 games – in which the team tied a program-best start to the season with a 15-0 record – McMahon has been vital to the team's success, averaging 12.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 2.1 assists per contest.
With matchups against Minnesota and Illinois on Ohio State's schedule over the next five days, head coach Kevin McGuff and the Buckeyes would love to see McMahon put forth efforts that would make her worthy of a fifth straight Big Ten Freshman of the Week award.
