I choose Dan's.

1. Who is guarding Zed Key from Griffin's team?
2. I believe Dan has the three most talented scorers on the team in Sensabaugh, Holden, and Key (Respectively).

Only way Griffin's team wins is if Sueing is even better than he was prior to injury and that's a lot to bank on considering all reports thus far have been he still has some rust to shake off to get back to where he was two years ago.

I really don’t see any current FBS head coach taking this job. It’s not a final destination school anymore and you don’t see coaches leaving stepping stone schools for another stepping stone school much anymore. Feel like it has to be a coordinator looking to be a first time head coach or a re-tread

One name I would try to go get is Jim Leonhard from Wisconsin. They are essentially the program that you should aspire to be.

2015 is the clear winner.

But I'm surprised no one mentioned 2010 yet. Was preseason #2 that year.

After coming off of the Rose Bowl victory against Oregon, returning an established Heisman candidate in Pryor and a defense that was one of the tops in the country in 2009. I remember thinking that was going to be the year and then Wisconsin happened. Sigh.

Interesting that so many of our transfers wind up in the Southwest
Mickey Mitchell- Arizona State
AJ Harris- New Mexico State
Jaquan Lyle-New Mexico
Luther Muhammad- Arizona State
Alonzo Gaffney- Arizona State
Jaedon LeDee- San Diego State
Ibrahima Diallo- San Jose State

I'm going to take a wildcard here and say Munford.

I truly think the Hutchinson play bull rushing him to the ground cost him being a 3rd-4th round pick. His versatility being able to play inside or out I think will buy him a couple years.

I like Rucket, but the only problem with being a TE is unless you are one of the elite pass catchers, a lot of times you get pushed out by younger guys that can play on smaller contracts. Not always true, but definitely a trend.

One recruiting class can completely change a program for the better or worse, and Holtmann's 2020 recruiting class (including transfers) is killing him right now.

-Meechie doesn't seem to provide anything other than the ability to occasionally hit an open three
-Gene Brown is just a defensive specialist. Which would be fine, except you can't have him on the floor unless the other 4 guys are all capable scorers and this program doesn't have that.
-Key has shown flashes of being solid, but really struggles to be an offensive weapon when he has to go against someone bigger than him and in the big ten that's really every night
-Towns has never been fully healthy

Combine this with Branham most likely being gone after 1 year, and you're in a bad spot. This 2022 class will make or break Holtmann.
