We have all-state 4 star recruits and backups waiting their turn. Maybe Victor adds some depth if we have some injuries?

What's the Problem? We have plenty of bodies that have been waiting their turn. Use our recruits, screw the portal!
I am ok with Holtman. At least he is recruiting at a high level. It will take time for these freshmen to jell and learn the ropes. As for Knowles I am not ok. No excuse for blowing a 14 point lead in the 4th quarter with an experienced defense. He also missed on his recruiting wish list.
Weak defense, lack of running game and bad calls were the difference. About time some of these games were played up north. Tired of the southern schools getting the calls. Targeting reversal cost us our best receiver and a touchdown instead of a field goal. Hats off to the Buckeyes, they played their hearts out.
Still can't believe Ohio's Mr. Football, Lamar Sperling wasn't offered. He ran for a state record 350+ yards in the state championship game.
They need to sign Lamar Sperling if he is available. This kid singlehandedly carried his team to the state championship game and is the reigning "Mr. Football" winner in Ohio.
Give Day the benefit of the doubt on these two kids. They didn't get offers yet for a reason. Day still has a better overall record than Harbaugh. How soon we forget that Jimmy went 0-5 before he got his first win in the series. Day won his first game, give him a break !
Boom ! Looks like a LB to me, great addition !!
Much needed good news on the defensive side! Welcome to the team Arvell ! Mr. Umeozulu and Mr. Bonsu come on down !
Am I bummed by the latest misses on D? Yes, but it's not the end of the world. We have plenty of young talent to have a much improved defense. I can't wait to see some of the LB's from the last couple of classes play. We will be just fine ! With a good season some of these misses might jump back on board.
That 75 MSU game will be hard to top. Being a conference game on the road the build-up was incredible. The Bucks not only took care of business but pitched a shutout. Watching the emotion of the team taking the field and the tenacity of how defense was played back then makes me grateful to have witnessed college football's golden years!
Nearly all of the many misses we have had in the last month were 100% OSU on Rivals. Strange for that many sure recruits to bail !
That game was so "out of hand"! Fact of the matter is that as bad as our Defense played, it was only a one score game with just under 3 minutes to go. Let them bask in their glory. As for the rivalry "It's on" !
We already have 4 and kept the best ones from Ohio home. The rest of this class needs to be LINEBACKERS and DL !!!
Concentrate our recruiting efforts to taking the best from Ohio, Our best all time linebackers have been Ohio players anyways - Marek, Cousineau, Gradishar, Katzenmoyer, Hawk....the list goes on and on.
Great addition but unless we can add Haynes, this should be the last offensive recruit! We have yet to add a LINEBACKER. The rest of this class needs to be from the DEFENSIVE side of the ball !!
One would think D line would have been priority #1 after having the ball run down our throats last year. Defense and the running game wins championships and yet we concentrate our recruiting efforts on QB's and WR's.
The transfer portal, NIL, and now these insane realignments of the Conferences, the ruination of college football continues. Glad I grew up in the era of true Big Ten college football (with 10 teams). Players went to school for an education, not as a stepping stone to the pros. Games were over in 2.5 hrs. not 4 due to endless commercial breaks. Yet I will continue to watch...Go Bucks.
This has gotten utterly ridiculous !
What a shame, I hate to hear that. Bryson was one of the few defensive players that showed up in the loss up north. If not for his touchdown saving interception and tackles that game would have been much worse.
Had Frey pitched out to the running back it would have been a first down and then some. The 93 game hurt the most. We went up north undefeated and ranked #5 and lost 28-0 to a 3 or 4 loss team. At that point it's on the head coach!
Young, Key, Sueing, Towns, and Johnson were all UNAVAILABLE last night! Can't expect Holtman to overcome that. Look at what TTUN has done this year with last years coach of the year (can you say NIT). They were preseason top 5 pick. Holtman has a excellent recruiting class coming in with a healthy Sueing and Towns to add. I am for giving him a couple more years before talking about replacing him.
How insane the fire Holtman theme is here. How soon they forget victories over Duke and ttun (who were picked top 5 in the country preseason).

They are going to take shots at us until next November. Have to expect that since they have been muzzled for 10 years. What matters is how we respond on the field. The irony is that had they lost this game their coach would probably have been out of a job.
