Recruiting top 50 players out of high school comes with a caveat. They will be expected to be contributors at some point during their freshman season. The transfer portal has ensured this. Holtmann has decided to keep on recruiting these players while many schools will now settle for a transfer portal player as opposed to spending time and energy on a high school player. As far as the game vs Minny, Sensabaugh had 18 points and 10 rebounds. THe days of waiting a year or two for guys to develope is more for the bluebloods, as with Ohio State with football.

The Buckeyes had 5 assists for the game vs Minny. 5!. THe last time they had so few assists was in Thad's last year, 2016, vs Michigan State, at ValuVillage Arena, a game the Buckeyes lost 81-62. That team was a real sh*t show.

Jardy did not defend him after the Maryland game. Probably not after this one either, but I have not listened to his after game podcast. The other guy you mentioned, do not know who he is. Listened to Mad About Hoops podcast for Maryland game a few days after and their were no excuses being doled out for Holtmann. I will tune in to Titus & Tate to hear their takes.

Roddy was coming in with a more refined defensive skill set that could translate to D1 level. Expectations for his offensive game to improve along the way his first year. He has had two steals in each of the last two games, with 4 rebounds in limited minutes against Maryland. He has a real big upside because his offense will come around. Felix isn't going anywhere after this year, whether he fets 12 or 30 minutes per game. He spent his last year of high school at Link Prep playing behind Tarris Reid, who is now Hunter Dickinsons backup, and seeing probably what amounts to less playing time than Felix. Felix is not a project the size of the project Ibrahima Diallo was. Felix has tremendous upside and will get more than his share of playing time. Good hustle, plays with a chip, and has good connection with Holtmann. Maybe next year you see a lineup with Zed and Felix on the floor together? Now cheer up and have a good day

Maryland has been turning teams over at the rate of 12 turnovers per game and score 20% of their points off of turnovers.

Wow. Oh my. I got up at 2 AM the other night to listen to the game. Paul Keels. Ron Stokes. On the 97.1 app. Then at 04:30, trying to reconcile the two point defeat, I took my dogs for a walk along the fence that runs in our yishuv and separates us from Palestine/West Bank/Samaria. Then I returned, read some Henning Mankell, dozed off til 9 AM. Didn't read the after game comments, way too early to read hate rants like yours I've just finished reading. Nobody forced you to read my" diatribe", the same as nobody forced me to move/emigrate to a different country. But I love it here. Would probably not have been able to afford all the sports stuff in 'murica, and with two teenage sons that eat all day, just not a priority to add more bills. I grew up in the 60's listening to sports on transistor radios, the world series, Reds games, Cincy Royals professional basketball, Ohio State football basketball.
