Holtmann is absolutely clueless. In the Columbus Dispatch today, he was asked why Sensabaugh was on the floor when he picked up his 5th foul.

“We just needed his offense out there,” Holtmann said when asked why he kept Sensabaugh in the game there. “That was (the reason).”

How stupid can you be? It's an offense/defense situation. You're fouling on first touch. The man continues to make dumb decisions but  never owns it. Please fire him!

We are already past that point. Bring in any of them, it will be an upgrade. Just watch the Minny game again to see what a clueless cheerleader Holtmann is. Run his ass out now!

My headache is in Lincoln. I sure hope he doesn't comeback. Fire Holtmann!!

Just listen to Holtmann in the Minny game. Never has a coach said so much with absolutely zero substance. He is a nice guy but a terrible leader.

Anybody that thinks Holtmann is a good coach needs to re-watch the OSU-Minny game. Both coaches mic'ed up and Holtmann was completely clueless. It was embarrassing.

Please may the next Chris Holtmann article state that he was fired.

Players need to play better and Holtmann needs to get a clue. What coach constantly tells his players, "We need a stop here guys"? What a genius idea coach, glad you figured it out since nobody else knew that. Go coach a grade school team since you add nothing at the college level.

The lack of blocking on a long return is quite common. Teammates are more interested in running along side the return guy rather than just turning around and impeding the pursuit.

That is on the staff. Two years ago Holtmann talked at times of using Sueing at the point. What a genius move that would be.

Screw Cronin. He's a cry baby and was the stooge that implicated us in the Damon Flint saga. Hard pass on that bitch!

OSU talent is better than Rutgers talent.

Rutgers coaching is way better than OSU coaching.

I'm not sure about the kids, but the coaching does suck.

With Holtmann and his lack of leadership, every game is losable. 

I hope they do turn it around. If they do, it will not be because of Holtmann. Hopefully one of his assistants takes the lead because Holtmann is a babbling fool. He provides no substance or instruction to his team, just a bunch of rah-rah crap. He's had his chance, boot him now.

Did you listen to what Holtmann said during timeouts and halftime? He provides NO strategy. Anybody can do what he does.

Holtmann says all game long...."Common guys", "we need a stop here", "you gotta play thru it", "Let's go"

That's a cheerleader not a coach.

If you had a D1 son deciding between Ben Johnson or Chris Holtmann, it's not even close. Johnson provides instruction, Holtmann just states the obvious. The mic'ed up coaches showed how clueless Holtmann is at game-time coaching. Cannot diagram a play, cannot make any adjustments and is 99% rah rah. Get that bum out of here.

I loved it since it exposed Holtmann for the poor coach that he is. He provides very little substance and near zero direction. He is nothing more than a glorified highly over-paid cheerleader masquerading as a basketball coach.

How are the smaller P5 schools getting so much NIL money than OSU?

We can have multiple great recruiting classes in a row but until we recruit a REAL head coach, we are going no where.

When Holtmann finally called TO during the 2nd half collapse, he walked around aimlessly and said nothing to the team. He left it up to the assistants to come up with a press break strategy. Get rid of him if he can't come up with a press break on his own!!

Let's keep our fingers crossed and Texas takes him.

Don't forget about the early entry excuses for Holtmann...like OSU is the only school to lose players to the NBA.
