A big :Thank You" for CJ for his exceptional play, and more importantly, for being the kind of young man he is.  His humility and arm talent are unique.  Best wishes to CJ as he pursues hus career at the next level;.  Go Bucks!

When Al McGuire coached basketball at Marquette University back in the 1970's, he was asked about his philosophy on defensive stats.  To paraphrase, he said that 'the only stats that really matter are those accumulated from your three best opponents' on the schedule.  Otherwise, stats are misleading.    .

As for giving up BIG plays,  it's sickening to watch the Buckeyes throw away a 1/2 or full quarter of good work on one play.  Those kinds of momentum-swinging plays almost always come back to haunt the team that gives them up, regardless of the sport.

Until the Buckeye defense can stand tall against the best teams on the schedule, the ranking of our Buckeye defense means nothing to me.  I remain optimistic the Buckeye defense will be better next fall, but like most older fans will 'believe it when I see it.'  Go Bucks!

Prayers for a complete recovery for DeMar Hamlin, his family, teammates, all those who know/love him, and the many fans at the game tonight.  I'm about sick to my stomach at home, so can't imagine how people who went to the game are doing right now.

It's awful to ever hear that someone has cancer, let alone someone Avery Henry's age.  It absolutely puts things in perspective.  Avery is very fortunate to have been through battles in his life and has tremendous support within the Woodie, the James Center, and people all over wishing him strength, faith, and lots of love.

Thanks for your response.  I grew up in the 60's listening to many games on the radio and still enjoy following games like this even day.  There are FAR too many commercials due to college football being controlled by money made via advertising.  All the other crap going on in today's game (recruitment, transfer portal, NIL, etc) makes watching and following the sport so much more painful, in my opinion.  Go Bucks!

It's most surprising that we are discussing Bradley Robinson's departure.  He's been the one Buckeye it seemed like we'd never have to replace.

It's great the Buckeyes were able to add an experienced long-snapper like John Ferlmann.  We've been blessed to have a few terrific long-snapper's, especially Bradley Robinson, and imagine John will continue that tradition.  Go Bucks!
