I really wonder if Holtmann is wedded to Sueing because he did rehab and come back for 1 more year? Is he rewarding his loyalty even if his play is kind of sucking at this point.

20 win seasons in large part to beating all the cupcakes. Holtmann seems to be a quality person but is in over his head and should be relieved of his position. He is paid very nicely and is producing very sub par product. OSU is a sports entertainment product and Holtmann is the ceo. His failures are obvious with a long track record. Calling people morons because they can no longer support his leadership is your brand of moronic.
Hope he can get coached up and help somewhere. We can use all the help we can get. Can you imagine Bama,Georgia, etc. being so short of o-line talent. We have really shot ourselves in the foot at these positions.
All I can do is laugh. What a horrendous shitshow.
What the f--k does he do well?
How many of those guys will even be here next year?
Eldon did recruit some very good players like Kellogg,Ransey and his class of Williams,Big Jim Smith etc. was almost the best in the nation that year. Eventually the recruiting really tailed off. Who could ever forget Rick Smith if you were around to see him play. Mr. Hustle!
Waiting for Nebraska to go off for about 90 and Buckeyes playing with snowshoes on.
Have said it before. Miller really knew his x's & o's. Holtmann still trying to figure it out.
Tearing it up in the portal.
Maybe the best arm talent but I cannot rate him much more than 3-5 because of questionable toughness and not willing to put himself out there to get those needed yards when available by scrambling for them.
I keep wondering when I read about these offers we are putting out why are we about the 20 or 30th school that has already offered and always behind Bama etc? I realize that being among the first few that offer does not guarantee anything but I would like to see us be among the first instead of way down the list. Are we slow to evaluate?
It is possible that Iowa has a better nil program than we do. I would not want to believe it but feel like we are really, really far behind in nil.
Will be a tough pull from Texas at his point forward.
I think that scum will back hairball to the max on any of these violations. They now have to. It will be deny, deny and minimize until the NCAA just says "naughty boy" and don't do it again. Gene Smith would roll over and say beat us with a rod and give us the stiffest penalties because we deserve it to just make OSU super clean.
Get him on the field and not only special teams.
and who cares?
Southern boy
Once again Shookster has it right. The conference is way down and this was Holtmann's chance to sneak in ahead of the crowd. WRONG! He has them right where they always are at this point. Staggering and looking lost. At this point I regretfully say I want them to totally collapse towards the bottom and let Gene Smith have to make a decision to go all in or fold em up. Sueing's best step forward is his spot on the bench.
NOBODY in the NFL with brains will take a chance on fruit loop hairball but he is using his leverage on mich. Here goes the old Harvard of the west bullshit. Nothing different between OSU and mich. on standards and has been proven over the years that mich. can and will get anybody in for either football or basketball. Reference the fab 5 lol.
It would be great if we could get a 3 year starter. Stinking qb for scum will stay 3 more years to pester us.
Before the season. "This is our year to make some noise. We have Sueing back and great veterans in McNeil and Holden and our freshman are phenoms". So some people said. They forgot that Holtmann was still the coach.
Tell Sueing to find his spot on the bench and get comfortable.
Some grade school coaches may be insulted.
I am always hoping the Buckeyes can win every game but now I really want this shitshow to extend as long as possible and force Gene Smith's hand to pull the plug. Yes, there will be transfers and loss of commits and the program may really suck badly for a year or two but it is like remodeling an old house and tearing out the rot. Put in new product and start over. I do not have any names as possible replacements but the job at Ohio St. has got to be very attractive and do not settle for the 10th choice like Smith did with Holtmann. The right amount of $$$$$$$$$$$$$ will get you a very good choice.
