I too love watching the Lady Buckeyes. What a season so far!

Watch and compare the difference of play in half court. the men dribble too much and seem lt know a lot about passing (hesitation, hesitation) poor shot selection. Versus the women get the ball down court fast and pass like they know a thing or two!  Its a pleasure to watch the women move the ball and every game i have seen the men play its an agony trip for me.  They backups  play more inspired  imho.I will say that I do believe this mens team has more individual talent than we have seen but every one should not try to be one and done. I love what Bryce S. brings but he wont make an NBA roster for another seasons experience yet..

5 minutes of coach scream was all i want for the season.   I do n't even want to hear Coach K . At least Icould see the game the way I want without a split screen,. To think one could shrink your screen about 70% smaller on Fubo . no thank you. and btw i am not one of the "100% of posters " who watch TV on their cell phones. Ha!

Funny! Johnson tells Minny playas they don't have to score with an 8 point lead and about 90 secss time left and had we given effort more than 5 minutes in the last half we would have won the game anyway if they hadnt taken so many poor shots 6 feet from the basket. we couldnt hit a layup 20 % of the time. I would try  llikelely at point and let THORNTON AT sg FOR A GAME OR .

I think the Purdue game wore them down physically and mentally..  Besides we are playing as many as four freshmen at times and most of them will be or should be mentally and physically tougher next yr. I agree Coach can do better in crunch time but I dont blame him that most of the team isnt ready for Big Ten Hoops yet. Minny deserved to win we deserved to lose. but it was not a well coached game on either side for my money.

One thing I think coach should not do is pull a player out that just swished a shot and got pulled out right afterward.

We need more assists.. more passing and less dribbling.&.more practice against the press I expect Sueing to round into his old self soon and Zed to heal more.

Why is it that we end up with some hotshot 3 pt shooters who can hardly get open?.

Personally I think our head coach in hoops is the best we've had in years!  Coaching didn't lose the game, .young players shot wildly after making poor shot selsctions in crunch time against PU. Why? We are a young talented team team and will be better.

I will say that adding to the team with transfers who have only 1 yr. eligibility left isn't going to win many championships.Hopefully in the future we get transfers with at least 2 yrs to play. It takes time to mesh and Coach is and has done many good things and is class all the way. What a great example to represent TOSU!

Just my humble opinion.. HoosierBuck1

Shucks I'm not hard to please like most of y'all! Just give me a QB with Mr. Braxton's moves, and legs, An arm like Mr. Stroud's and leadership and will to win like Mr. Barrett and i'll give you Mr. Fields!

Go Bucks!  Beat Xichigan!

"This had me wondering how the scout team offense could replicate the Iowa offense.  Fall down, fall down, throw the ball into the dirt, then punt."

Got a Chuckle from your "solution" and upped you one for it."

In reality I think their offense will show better against us than we have seen out of them so far. Just a hunch, but not enough to put a 4th quarter scare into our Bucks. Hoping JSN plays.

Go Bucks.!

Totally agree with Gametime's assessment of Werner's playmaking.  My dentist is a Werner family friend and was high on the kid from the get go. (H.S.days)

I have very slim hopes of this group of Bucks winning both games but if we lose both it should be taken as a step forward. ...notice I said "group" mainly because I do not have the slightest idea how much practice time they will have had before game 1.  I'm sure not privy to any inside info, just a gut feeling that the opponents are licking their chops.  Hope I am wrong.

GO BUCKS!

Add Bob Vogel '60 '61 '62  and Joe Sparma QB '61 '62.

Vogel played10 seasons for Baltimore Colts All pro 5 seasons is on Massillon's  Wall of Champions.Drafted by the Colts 1st round 5th pick.

Joe Sparma had his time as a  starting QB but  better known nationally as a pitcher for Detroit Tigers, I believe.

Has anyone mentioned Devin Smith yet!  Wow Cardale (Glenville HS)  to Smith  against Wisky 59-0 blowout in B1G CG! Northern Ohio at one of its finest moments.

LOOOVE all my Buckeyes past and present. OH!-

Other unmentioned Massillon Tiger starters under WWH:  Mike Takac OG, 51-53 ,Jim Reichenbach OG 51 52 53 54, James W. Shumaker OL 52,53, Jerry Krisher OL  51.52, 53, 54.

Of the above four, Takac and Reichenbaugh were All Americans during their careers as Buckeyes. "Reich' had the record for Buckeyes who played the most consecutive games as a Buckeye until the schedule was increased from 9 regular season games.

It was told in Massillon that there was a time in the '50s that TOSU  had four ex Massillon Tigers shoulder to shoulder on the OL. I do not know if that actually happened.

Lindell Houston, OL another TIGER  under PB'S 1940 NC team!    ALL American at TOSU and later an ALL Pro with Massillon's Paul Brown's Cleveland Browns. was one of five Houston brothers four of whom played CFB. One of Lin 's brothers was AA Jim Houston Sr.DL in '57 '58 '59 and son Jim Houston Jr. 1978.
